Derbyshire Carers Association – recognise that the responsibility of caring for someone who cannot manage at home without help often places great physical and emotional strain upon the carer. They can help carers by providing information, support, advocacy and support groups all across Derbyshire.

Changing Places - Standard disabled toilets do not meet the needs of all people with a disability – or their carers. Changing Places toilets have more space than a standard accessible toilet and more equipment such as height adjustable adult-sized changing bench and a tracking hoist system, or mobile hoist if this is not possible.
