Steps for the Future will soon be able to offer a new class for adults with more severe disabilities.  This class will be held at Deda, The Derby Dance Centre, Chapel Street, Derby, in one of their beautiful dance studios.  It will be a three hour class and include all of our disciplines, music, drama and dance.  Each session will cost £30.00.  We are hoping that wheelchair users will become Steps Students.  The class will be run by an experienced member of Steps staff and volunteers.  Our volunteers will be Steps Students who attend some or all of our classes, and who very much want to pass on their talents to others. 

Through the performing arts Steps Students have developed not only performance skills, but have gained confidence and self-esteem, they work well together as a team and are proud of their achievements.  The studio at the Dance Centre is on the ground floor and is very wheelchair accessible.  The accessible facilities are adjacent.  There is also a lovely Cafe and there is a municipal car park across the road.
